The field assessment run by the LAM-PTKes Assessor Team was held on 20-21 March 2023 at the 3rd floor of A building, Medical Faculty, Diponegoro University, Tembalang. The activity lasted for two full days, and all the staff and the residents attended this event.

The agenda on the first day began with the arrival of the assessors, dr. Istan Irmansyah Irsan Sp.OT(K)  and Dr. dr. Muhammad Arifin Parenrengi, Sp.B.S(K) in Semarang. Firstly, the assessment took place at the Main Education Hospital, which located in Rehabilitation and Geriatric Department in Dr. Kariadi Hospital. The activity emphasized on educational facilities to support the residency journey, such as Discussion Room, Resident Room, and Reading Room at The Murai Instalation. Later on, visitation continued to the Physiotherapy Unit, Occupational Therapy Unit, Gymnasium, Hydrotherapy Unit, and Orthotic-Prosthetic Workshop Unit. After the Main Hospital tour, all of us visited the Diponegoro National Hospital, Undip Affiliation Education Hospital. At the Medical Rehabilitation department, where the residency students learn and practice, its fasilities was being evaluated. The Robotic Development Unit become asessor’s interest.

After took several moment to rest, the assessors and all staff, also several residents gathered in room 307, at the 3rd floor of A Building, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University to conduct interviews. The agenda of this session was intended to interview some representative students which randomly selected from early, mid and final semesters. The interview process was going smoothly and closed the first day assessment.

On the second day, the opening ceremony was held at the Ruang Serba Guna, Dekanat, Faculty of Medicine of Undip. The event were attended by all staff and guests. The event was opened with remarks by Prof. Dr. dr. Dwi Pudjonarko, M.Kes, Sp.S (K), as the Dean of the Medical Faculty, Diponegoro University, followed by the assessors. A video profile of the Medical Faculty, Diponegoro University was being presented, and continue with presentation of the Medical Faculty staff represented by Dr. dr. Hermina Sukmaningtyas, M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K). And as the main figure of the day, the video profile of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Study Program was viewed and continued with a presentation by the Head of the Specialist Program of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, dr. Tanti Ajoe Kesoema, Sp.K.F.R., M.S. (K), M.Si.Med.

After the ceremony, the assessors continued Interviewed and taking confirmations to related parties, documents confirmation, preparation and submission of document by assessors to the Study Program Management Unit for comments. In this session, the assessor conveyed some aspects that were considered as good and need to be maintained, also suggestions to achieve more improvements . Overall the Specialist Program Study of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Medical Faculty of Diponegoro University made good impression of all the aspects described in 1st to 9th Criteria. Some constructive input was also conveyed by assessors and was well received for correction and development in the future.

Quoting from the message conveyed by the Dean of the Medical Faculty: “Accreditation is a process that must be passed by a study program to improve quality in producing the best graduates to be involved in society”, it is hoped that this accreditation will improve to always be at the forefront of educating and becoming the Specialist Program that excellence in creating the best graduates to serve people throughout Indonesia.
